The Women’s Adventure Expo is a unique opportunity, bringing together retailers and adventurers with a focus on women’s needs. Over 900 people attended the inaugural expo in 2016, and this year we are gearing up for an even bigger event with an even wider range of activities.

In short, expect much more than a simple expo: this event is the ultimate hub for you to discover new trends, find inspiration, meet likeminded adventurers, sign up for training courses, plan ahead and get fully kitted out before embarking on your next adventure!

9:45am -  Acknowledgement of Country with Kamla and Amber & She Went Wild Welcome

10:00am - Heather Ellis, author of one of Amazon's top selling books this year Ubuntu: One Woman's Motorcycle Odyssey Across AfricaHeather's epic journey over 15 months and 19 countries riding 42,000 kilometres on a Yamaha TT600 off-road motorcycle from south to north Africa during 1993 to 1994.

10:45am - Adventuring & Mental Health: Amy Molloy editor of THE COLLECTIVE in conversation with Megan Rowlatt from Intrepid Landcare and Jimmy Stanton Cook from Beards On to discuss the outdoor rituals they practise to deal with life’s challenges – and how to discover your own wild healing strategies. 

11:30am Terra Roam discusses her voyage of walking solo & unaccompanied 16,000k across Australia across the last 4 years. Terra is passionate about sharing her more challenging and life changing insights. The Happy Walk: My solo walk around Australia

12:15pm - Lisa Blair became the first woman to sail solo and unassisted around Antarctica when she reached Albany, in WA, following a gruelling 184-day voyage talks Sailing the World

1:00pm - Sarah Davis talks about her current planning of her expedition to paddle the length of the world’s longest river, the Nile. It’s also one of the most treacherous rivers, flowing along some 6,850km, taking in some of the world’s most extraordinary terrain Paddle the Nile

1:45pm - Angie Scarth-Johnson, is a self-taught climber starting at age 7. Her accomplishments have been well beyond her years. At 13 years old, she is currently considered one of the best Australian climbers and the best sports outdoor climber for under 16 in the World .  Angie's Adventures

2:30pm - Chloe Phillips-Harris on her Adventures by Horseback around the world. She has raced horses 1000km across Mongolia, visited some of the worlds most remote tribes and recently walked across the Simpson Desert with camels.

3:15pm - Lauren Jones from The Jonesys who just completed a 1600k walk through the outback with her husband and 1-year-old  daughter Morgan
