Mirawara Earth Skills Weekend

Come enjoy the beauty of Leanganook (Mt Alexander), near Castlemaine and learn earth skills with Aunty Marilyn Nicholls and Rebecca Phillips from Dja Dja Wurrung, Indigenous dancer Mitch Boney, rewilding facilitator and soul guide Claire Dunn, ecologist Jem Little and Mel Turnbull from the FireKeepers. This is a great family event, everyone is welcome.
The weekend will include: Welcome to Country, fire-by-friction, string making, nature connection activities, bird language, Indigenous story-telling and dance, basket weaving, dinner around the campfire, music and so much more.
This weekend is organised by Mirawara Environmental Education Centre near Castlemaine.
