Rewilding the Soul: Learning to Embody our Ecological Selves
Keynote Talk: The Embodiment Conference 2020
4 pm Thursday Oct 22 2020
Keynote Brief: Just as the rewilding of natural landscapes seeks to restore balance, so too the human rewilding movement is seeking to restore health and aliveness to our personal and collective ecosystems. It points us toward a reclaiming of a more wild or original state; a decolonizing of our minds, bodies and souls from dull domestication and instead awakening into our full potential as ‘psyches the size of the earth.’ In this session I’ll share my own journey of rewilding and reconnection, and the philosophy of rewilding in practice as seen through the stories of a group of city dwellers I’ve been guiding the past couple of years.
