Seasons of the Soul

Turning Ground, CERES and Nature’s Apprentice invite you to an evening of:

  • Gathering, learning and connecting with the seasonal changes of place.

  • Exploring the inner seasonality of our own lives.

  • Engaging in conversation and story about shifting towards a life-giving

  • culture with Claire Dunn.

  • Eating together around the fire.

  • Enjoying the beautiful songs of Rat Child.

About this Evening:

To move towards a genuinely life-giving and life-affirming culture, we need to become active participants again. We need to be together, we need to learn how to listen again, to use our senses, to share stories, to gather around the fire and remember our place within the ancient rhythms of life. So, we offer this gathering as a step towards a culture that places greater importance upon our connections: The ties between ourselves, each other and the living world.

This is a community event weaving together elements of: Facilitated nature connection practice; self-reflective and creative explorations; invitations into conversation and connection with others; public dialogue with our guest storyteller; food; fire; and live music.

And, as with all Turning Ground gatherings, an invitation into feeling fully human.

We will be providing a nourishing soup with bread for dinner. Gluten free options available.

General Timing of the Event:

4:00-6:00pm: Facilitated experience of nature connection, self-reflective practices, invitations to share with others.

6:00-7:00pm: Public conversation with Claire Dunn.

7:00-8:00pm: Dinner around the fire.

8:00-9:00pm: Live music with Rat Child

All are Welcome:

All ages, cultures, orientations.
This event and this series seek to create spaces for all, as we seek to build bridges, and weave trust. We hope to co-create open, connective, and generative dialogues; even in all of our differences.

🌏 Honouring the Lands and Waters we Gather with:

We acknowledge that this event takes place on and with unceded Aboriginal land. We pay our utmost respect to the Wurrundjeri people from the Kulin nation and invite all who join us to remember history, pain, and privilege as we seek to include history, live, love, and lead in ways that allow a more inclusive and regenerative future to emerge.
